[He takes a breath and then gestures at the table.]

So what would you like to learn? I've everything on hand for a few things, but most needed are a potion that helps with... loose bowels, one that helps someone get to sleep more easily, and one that can be poured on feet to help prevent infections due to cold and wet and muck. They're not glamorous, but they're what we're low on at the moment.

[ She frowns slightly at the thought; it's more like things she's seen in pictures from other countries than anything she's ever seen back home, even with the poorest people in Arcadia Bay.

Still, the loose bowels comment is enough to get her to pull a face; there's a reason she never went into any kind of medicine, clearly. ]

Preventing infections definitely sounds pretty important. Why don't you teach me to make that one first.

[The face gets a snicker from him.]

Sorry, healing is rarely glamorous. ...But after the infection potion, we could make something that makes one's tongue tingle for about an hour. Harmless, but it's a good prank.

[He might as well be merciful. She's young, and he has the time to make the rest of what they need down here later. Anders taps a list on parchment before giving her a curious look.]

Can you read this? It's not a problem if you can't, it would simply make retrieving the needed herbs from their pouches on the shelves faster.

[He nods to the shelves on either side of the desk, filled with carefully labeled pouches. A few are upside-down.]

That sounds kinda fun. [ Pranking people was something that she did definitely get a kick out of. She wondered whether or not she could manage to sneak some of that into Prompto's drink some time. Hmmm. ] I don't mind the unglamorous stuff, though. I want to help. That's what's most important.

[ It was probably one of the more selfless things to ever come out of her mouth, anyway.

Leaning in, she looked at the paper to be sure it wasn't in some language she hadn't been trying to study while she was here, and gives a nod, reaching for the list. ] Yeah. I can read it. I'll ask if I get a little lost.

[The smile he gives her goes from amused to something that could be considered proud. Being here to help is entirely why he founded the Clinic, and her willingness to help despite what many Thedosians think of her is heartwarming. That the ignorant could consider her a demon...

Anders nods, mentally shrugging off that trail of thought.]

All right. Pull them off the shelf and lay them on the desk while I get the stabilizer liquids measured out. I can teach you how to make them another day if you'd like, but they're tedious and time-consuming.

[He's lining up vials as he speaks, five per column, two sets of three rows each.]

One will be using faster-acting stabilizers so it'll be ready to use by day's end, the other will be slower but stronger. That takes closer to a week, but it's worth it. How are you... How is Thedas treating you, aside from the name-calling and threats of phylacteries?
