Why does anyone kill anyone else who isn't threatening them? It was an attack in Darktown. There are dozens of those daily, and he deserved so much better but the Maker and the Creators and the Old Gods and the Stone or whatever Dwarves worship don't give a fuck about the people of Thedas and what they deserve.
