No. Teren's the old bird. Looks and acts like a vulture. You ever see one of those things? Terrifying.

[Anders says a little grumpily. Wynne had apparently been the best mage friend to have while traveling, but Maker forbid any other mage get to be out of the Circle. It annoys him sometimes that everyone who traveled with her and Jonas seemed to love her.]

Teren's not as bad as you think. You just piss her off because she doesn't appreciate fart jokes and smells with personality.

All right. Maybe the two of you don't exactly have a... working relationship. I can see how your personalities would clash. But you yourself are admitting it was stupid what you did to get on her bad side, in this letter.

[He leans over to have another look at the letter to see where it's at now before clearing his throat to continue.]

"Anyway, I got you some puzzles and games I thought you might like. You've been liking those lately so I thought maybe you'd like to have some more. These are supposed to be challenging but you can let me know what you think when I come visit. Not sure when that will be but I'm going to try to make it soon, little nugget. I need to see how much you've grown for myself."

[He pauses there a moment because being all emotional around others is not his strong point but Anders is here to help him so...]

"You're the best thing I've ever done in this life of mine, nugget. I'm proud of what you're becoming. Keep it up and don't follow in your da's footsteps. You deserve the greatest of everything."
