I stand by what I said. It is not just mages who suffer in this world, but for a blameless, thoughtless, twitchy little man I'm sure it the only suffering that matters. And the best you could do was flee to this camp so that you might be sheltered from the disapproving eyes of Skyhold. How fortunate you have plenty of warm bodies to hide behind. It is better that than facing them with that pride the you desperately believe in, scream loud enough and perhaps it might be true...and yet it's not enough to walk into Skyhold with that same high-powered attitude. It's unfortunate that your sneering sanctimony isn't the equivalent of courage.

[And in that, they were not to0 different, perhaps Michel wasn't one to forget that he had feet below his knees so easily, but his pride did not make him forget the one atrocity in his life that he committed. Anders seemed to revel in his graveyards, from Michel's perspective, and though the man claimed to have pride, claimed to be equal to everyone else, he hid here, behind the graces and the reputation of the Grey Wardens. Michel wasn't certain he believed in the man's pride as much as Anders seem to believe it himself.

But he was through speaking to him, he gathered the reigns of the horse instead and with the creature trotting along beside him he left the camp.]
